Sugarcane Jane and Webb Dalton Take Home Top Honors at Josie Music Awards

Two beloved performers from the Gulf Coast earned major honors at the Josie Music Awards on Sunday night in Nashville. Sugarcane Jane took home the award for “Duo of the Year” in the Americana category. Webb Dalton won Song of the Year for his track "Don't Forget, Remember Me". Both artists are well-known to music fans along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast.


The ceremony took place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the famous Grand Ole Opry House. The Josie Music Awards recognizes independent artists from across the country. This year marked the 11th annual event.


Sugarcane Jane consists of husband and wife Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee. The duo is based in Loxley, Alabama, and has built a strong following with their blend of folk, spiritual and country music. Their harmonies and storytelling have made them favorites at venues throughout the region.

Webb Dalton's winning song showcases his talent as both a performer and songwriter. He has received recognition at the Josie Music Awards before. His previous wins include Artist of the Year in 2023 and Songwriter of the Year in 2024.
