Orange Beach City Council To Focus On Recreation Campus Updates And Local Ordinances
Discussions will cover park facility stewardship, council compensation, police drone requests, and new e-bike rules during Tuesday's work session.
Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach leaders are preparing to evaluate major community updates and shift their focus to long-term stewardship of local parks and essential municipal guidelines during the morning work session. The council will review comprehensive facility plans to optimize city assets and support ongoing revitalization of public spaces across the island.
The work session meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug 18, 2026, at 11 AM in the City Hall South Conference Room.
In addition to community infrastructure, council members will evaluate governance issues, including elected officials' compensation, municipal property use, and enhanced public safety technology.
During the work session, the council will also discuss:
- An overview of current Parks and Recreation facilities.
- A status update regarding the city's recreation campus.
