Island Church event offers free family fun at The Wharf

Trunk or Treat at the Wharf

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  The Wharf in Orange Beach is getting ready for a ghoulish good time this Halloween season. The Island Church is hosting a free Trunk or Treat event on Main Street and at Portside. Families are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best and bring the kids out for a night of candy, activities, and entertainment. Admission and parking are free, though some activities will have a cost.


The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, with kids' activities starting at 5 p.m. and Trunk or Treat kicking off at 6 p.m. The evening offers something for everyone in the family.


DJ Matt will spin spooky tunes on Main Street all night. The Island Church will also provide candy bags for anyone who forgets to bring one.


Kids' activities at the event will include:

  • Rock wall
  • Bounce house
  • Mechanical bull
  • Face painter
  • The reptile bus
  • Pony rides


The night does not end with trick-or-treating. At 7 p.m., the movie
Monsters University will screen at Portside. To close out the evening, the SPECTRA Laser Light Show will light up the skies at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
