Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  The Orange Beach Golf Center will host a three-week junior golf camp in June for children ages 6 to 12. The program is designed to teach the basics of golf and build skills. Camp leaders say children will practice in a fun, relaxed setting. The camp also aims to provide outdoor time and a chance to make new friends.

The camp will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions are scheduled for June 9 and 11, June 16 and 18, and June 23 and 25. Registration opens on Tuesday, May 19. Families can sign up online by visiting the city’s registration page and selecting Golf Camp 2026.

Children ages 6 to 9 will attend from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Children ages 10 to 12 will attend from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Each age group will be limited to six participants. The small group size is intended to give each child more personal attention during instruction.

The camp will be led by golf instructor Mack Tucker. During the program, children will learn the basics and techniques of golf. Instruction will cover core aspects of the game, including chipping, putting, iron play, driver work, and fairway wood skills. Organizers say the program is designed to help junior golfers learn, improve, and grow in the game.

Space is limited, and families are encouraged to register early. The registration fee is $200 per child. More information is available through the City of Orange Beach
registration system website
