Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at the Orange Beach Adult Fitness Center. The drive will be held in the facility’s training room. Donors can give blood, platelets, or AB Elite plasma. Walk-ins are welcome, though scheduled appointments will be honored first.

The blood drive is scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Orange Beach Adult Fitness Center is at 4847 Wilson Blvd. The training room will serve as the donation site for the event.

The Red Cross is encouraging people to donate during the summer, when patients continue to need blood products. The organization is offering donors an incentive for part of the month. People who come to donate between July 13 and July 31, 2026, may receive a Fandango Movie Ticket by email.

The movie ticket offer is valued at up to $15 toward the ticket price and fees. The offer applies to those who give blood, platelets, or AB Elite plasma during the promotional period. The American Red Cross is presenting the summer campaign as an opportunity for donors to support patients in need.

Residents who want to reserve a donation time can schedule an appointment online through the American Red Cross at redcrossblood.org. Appointments are available before the July 24 drive. Donors may also call the American Red Cross to schedule an appointment.

The blood drive provides Orange Beach residents with a local location to donate during the afternoon and early evening. It will be held inside the Adult Fitness Center rather than outdoors. The event is open to people who choose to donate blood products through the American Red Cross.
