Grill-Seekers Wanted: A Turnkey Opportunity at Bleus Burger

Bleus Burger in Gulf Shores if up for sale

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — For food lovers and aspiring restaurateurs in Gulf Shores, a local institution is about to enter its next chapter. Bleus Burger, the acclaimed gourmet burger destination that has anchored the community’s dining scene for the past decade, has officially been listed for sale.

THE RESTAURANT WILL REMAIN OPEN WHILE NEW OWNERSHIP IS TRANSITIONED.

Owners Scott Keel and Susan Ellis are looking to pass the torch to a new operator, offering what they describe as a truly "turnkey" opportunity for anyone looking to step into a thriving, established business.

A Decade of Culinary Success

Since opening its doors, Bleus Burger has become more than just a place to grab a bite; it has cultivated a loyal customer base, a strong social media presence, and a reputation for culinary creativity. The restaurant’s business model is set up for a seamless transition, with fully documented recipes, inventory management, and a staff structure already in place.

The sale includes more than just the physical space. The owners are handing over a "complete operational blueprint" that has proven successful for ten years. Beyond the restaurant’s storefront, the business features built-in cash flow through its capacity to act as a commissary for up to three mobile units, alongside a recognizable brand that has been a staple at local festivals and events.

"Bleus Burger has definitely been a labor of love, and we wouldn't change one single minute of our history with it," said Scott. "We love Bleus Burger with all our hearts and we very much want to see it continue to thrive."

The Next Adventure

For Scott and Susan, the decision to sell is not about moving away from the restaurant industry because of burnout, but rather a desire to pursue new horizons.

"It's been a pleasure to design, open, and run Bleus Burger as an owner/operator for the past ten years," shared Susan. "Creating a bi-annual revolving menu is fun and exciting and has kept things interesting every step of the way. We're ready to focus our sights on other opportunities that we haven't been able to pursue."

Scott echoed this sentiment, noting that the move is an opportunity to recharge and explore new professional and personal paths. "We're ready to take on new challenges and maybe try our hands at something new," he said. "New challenges are what keep us sharp and passionate. We're also looking forward to taking a little time off and seeing more of the country and spending more time with family."

An Opportunity for Growth

The owners have prepared a comprehensive brand prospectus for serious inquiries, noting that landlords are open to a lease transfer for the right candidate. Whether for an experienced local operator looking to expand their portfolio or an entrepreneur seeking a fully functional foundation, the stage is set for Bleus Burger to continue its legacy under new leadership.

"Whatever it is is bound to be an amazing adventure," Scott added, reflecting on the future, "just like Bleus Burger has been over the years."

Interested parties are encouraged to reach out to the owners directly to discuss details and determine if this Gulf Shores staple is the right fit for their next venture.
