MAAAC Gala Takes Place at Perdido Beach Resort

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  The MAAAC Gala is returning this summer to raise funds for Orange Beach City Schools. Organizers say the event has become a major annual tradition for the community. The fundraiser supports students, teachers, and programs across the school system. Guests will gather for an evening of food, music, auctions, and celebration.

The MAAAC Gala 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Perdido Beach Resort Grand Ballroom. The event is one of MAAAC’s largest annual fundraisers and directly supports the school system’s Makos.

The gala will include a gourmet dinner, a cocktail hour, and live music. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive silent auction. Community members can expect surprise award recognitions and other activities throughout the evening.

Tables for 12 are available for $1,500. Individual tickets are $150 each. Educators in the Orange Beach City School System can purchase tickets for $50. Organizers recommend cocktail attire for attendees.

Ticket sales are open on the Perdido Beach Resort website at
perdidobeachresort.com/MAAAC-Gala-26. The event is expected to bring together school supporters, local leaders, educators, and families. Proceeds will be invested in programs that help Orange Beach City Schools serve its students.

MAAAC is also seeking donations for the silent auction. Those interested in contributing an item or service can use the online donation form at
orangebeachcityschools.jotform.com/261747005508052. Silent-auction donations can help enhance the fundraiser’s overall impact.

The gala offers community members a way to celebrate local schools and support their future. Organizers encourage supporters to reserve tickets and consider donating auction items before the event. Questions about the gala can be sent to
