Gulf Coast Heroes To Be Honored At Surf And Turf Dinner Gala
Surf-and-turf dinner and live music set the stage for a night honoring local community heroes

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Sunny 105.7-FM is going all out to honor the unsung heroes of the Gulf Coast. The Orange Beach-based radio station is hosting its Heroes of the Gulf Coast event, a special evening dedicated to celebrating everyday people who stepped up and made a significant difference. The night promises great food, live music, and heartfelt recognition for those who went above and beyond in their communities. Guests are encouraged to dress up for what organizers are calling a fancier night out.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Port at Zeke's, located at 26619 Perdido Beach Boulevard in Orange Beach, Alabama. The evening begins with a lively social hour that features live music by Lisa Christian, a silent auction, and a cash bar.
After the social hour, guests will be seated for a plated surf-and-turf dinner. The menu features a mixed greens salad, skirt steak, and shrimp, served with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans, followed by a decadent dessert. A vegetarian option is available with an advance request.
The evening will also highlight something larger than the meal. Organizers say a portion of ticket sales and all proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Sea Glass Initiative Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to ending housing insecurity in Baldwin County. The organization aims to rebuild the community, one person at a time.
Organizers say the event is about celebrating the best qualities of people. "This evening really showcases humanity at its best," organizers said. "This event pays tribute to everyday folks who answered the call and were heroes in the moment."
Tickets are now on sale for the event and can be purchased on the
Simple Tix Website. The Heroes of the Gulf Coast celebration provides the community with an opportunity to honor its own while also supporting a cause that directly helps local families in need.
