Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — A popular community event is returning to the Gulf Shores Public Beach, offering families a relaxed evening of food, music, and entertainment. The gathering aims to bring residents and visitors together in a welcoming outdoor setting. Organizers say the event will feature a wide range of free activities. Attendees can expect a casual beach atmosphere with something for all ages.

S’mores on the Shore is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, with festivities starting at 6 p.m. The event will be held at Gulf Place, 101 Gulf Shores Parkway. City officials encourage early arrival to enjoy all planned activities and secure a comfortable spot on the sand.

Guests will receive free s’mores packets while supplies last and can enjoy music from a live DJ throughout the evening. Additional attractions include a balloon artist and face painting, both designed to entertain younger visitors. Fresh watermelon will also be provided by Wheeles Realty.

Several local organizations and vendors are expected to participate in the event, including the Hog Wild food truck, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Tourism. Organizers say the mix of vendors will add variety and showcase local businesses.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to create a comfortable space on the beach. Officials say the goal is to provide a laid-back setting where people can gather, relax, and enjoy the coastal scenery while spending time together.
