Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The Friends of the Arts is bringing a touch of glamour to the Alabama Gulf Coast this spring. The organization's annual Grand Event fundraiser will feature a Casino Royale theme, offering an evening of entertainment, delicious food, and friendly competition. The event will take place at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach. Doors open at 6 p.m., and guests are encouraged to dress in cocktail attire.

The event is scheduled for April 30, 2026, at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach. Tickets are $100 per person and are available at the
Coastal Arts Center and online through Eventbrite.

Guests will have the chance to try various casino-style games, including craps, blackjack, and roulette. A split-the-pot raffle and a silent auction will also be part of the evening's entertainment. The grand prize is provided by The Lodge at Gulf State Park, along with other prizes.

Fred Armstrong, the event committee chairman, said the fundraiser is a community-wide celebration of the arts. "We are thrilled to once again present our signature fundraiser, which supports our efforts all year long," Armstrong said. "This is an opportunity for our entire community to support the work of the Friends of the Arts, which funds and promotes local art events, educational programs, and college scholarships."

Armstrong added that the theme will create a special atmosphere for the evening. "The Casino Royale theme will add elegance and fun to this great cause," he said.

Wharf Catering Group will serve a selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. Signature cocktails will also be available on the drink menu, enhancing the upscale experience.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Friends of the Arts' mission to support fine arts along the Gulf Coast. Funded programs include the award-winning Orange Beach Festival of Art, annual arts scholarships for high school seniors, the Coastal Arts Student Academy, and other children's arts programs.
