Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reported nearly 1,200 new listings added during the month, marking a 10% rise compared to March 2024. Total revenue from residential sales also surpassed the previous year's figures by approximately $6.5 million.

Robertsdale, Ala. – (OBA) – Despite a slight slowdown in the pace of Baldwin County’s housing market in October 2024, the region experienced continued growth in both property sales and average sales prices. According to data from the Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the total dollar volume of properties sold in the county rose by $18.3 million compared to October 2023, driven by incremental price increases in both the Traditional Residential and Resort/Island markets. The county also saw a modest increase of 13 total property closings over the 2023.

According to Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the average number of days properties remained on the market saw a significant year-over-year increase, reflecting a decrease in buyer urgency as families transitioned back to school. Total closed sales also dropped across both submarkets, with fewer transactions in comparison to August 2023.
