Long-Time Coral Reefer Band Member Set To Perform At Alabama Beach Event

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) —  Meeting of the Minds just announced that Peter Mayer will join the 2026 event in Gulf Shores. The long-time Coral Reefer Band member and singer-songwriter brings his musical talents to this year's gathering. Organizers are encouraging attendees to register now so they can begin planning their trips. The Tiki Bar is open for registration through the event's official website listed below.

The 2026 Meeting of the Minds will take place in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from October 21 through the 25th. Event planners have opened registration and are inviting Parrot Head club members to secure their spots. Attendees who want to bring friends have several options to make that happen.

The event welcomes both current Parrot Head club members and newcomers to the community. Friends who are not currently members of a Parrot Head club can join their local chapter to attend. For those without a nearby club, organizers have included a link on the registration page to join the Virtual Parrot Head Club and become a member.

Peter Mayer has been a member of the Coral Reefer Band for many years. His participation adds another layer of excitement to this year's Meeting of the Minds. The singer-songwriter's presence gives attendees the chance to experience live performances by an established musician in the tropical rock community.

Registration details and membership information are available on the official Meeting of the Minds website at
motm.rocks.  The site provides everything potential attendees need to register for the event. Current Parrot Head Club members can register directly through the portal. New members can complete the Virtual PHC membership process and register for the gathering in one convenient location.

Event organizers emphasize the importance of early registration for travel planning. Gulf Shores offers numerous accommodations for visitors attending the Meeting of the Minds. Early registration allows attendees to book lodging and make necessary arrangements well in advance. The event continues to grow in popularity each year among Parrot Head communities.

The Meeting of the Minds has become an annual tradition for Parrot Head clubs nationwide. This year's event promises memorable experiences, highlighted by the addition of Peter Mayer to the lineup. Gulf Shores offers an ideal coastal setting for the gathering. Attendees can enjoy music, community connections, and Alabama's beautiful beaches throughout the event.
