Yes, It's Lady's Night in Downtown Foley

Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — Foley Main Street is preparing to host a new evening event to bring shoppers downtown for music, deals, and socializing. The event, called Yes, It’s Ladies’ Night, will feature live entertainment and special offers from local businesses. Organizers say it aims to create a lively atmosphere while supporting downtown shops. This effort also builds on the success of our ongoing monthly events in the area.

The event will take place on May 21 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in downtown Foley. It will coincide with the city’s popular Third Thursday event, which regularly draws crowds for shopping and entertainment. Organizers expect a strong turnout as businesses prepare special promotions.

To add excitement, Foley Main Street is offering a limited-edition Ladies’ Night Bling Kit. Kits ordered in advance cost $20 and arrive in a pink lunch box filled with themed items and surprises. Any kits remaining at the event will be sold on site for $25.

Some kits will include hidden Easter Eggs with higher-value prizes, including five $25 gift certificates and other items donated by downtown businesses. Organizers say the giveaway is intended to encourage participation and exploration throughout the event.

“We wanted to create something that adds an extra layer of fun to the Third Thursday experience,” said Lillian Taylor Norris, chair of the Foley Main Street Promotions Committee. “It’s a great way for women to get together, enjoy live music, and support our local shop owners while having the chance to take advantage of the specials around town.”

Pre-ordered kits can be picked up at South Baldwin Social between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the day of the event. Visitors are encouraged to walk through downtown and visit participating businesses that offer discounts and treats in the evening.

Foley Main Street also recognized its presenting sponsor, South Baldwin Social, as well as its supporting sponsors, Access Home Health dba Amedisys, Cassity’s Nest, Cobb & Terrezza, and Lillian’s Closet. Organizers said these partnerships make community events like this possible.

Foley Main Street is a nonprofit organization focused on economic growth, historic preservation, and community development in the downtown area. South Baldwin Social is a bridal and formal wear boutique in Foley that offers clothing and services for weddings and special events.
