Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach is lighting up with Mardi Gras spirit, thanks to Emporium@C. The boutique, owned by Trisha Voltz Carlson, is a one-stop shop for all things purple, green, and gold. With costumes, apparel, décor, and more, it’s become the area’s unofficial Mardi Gras headquarters.

Carlson, born and raised in a community where Mardi Gras is a way of life, brings her passion for the carnival season to Orange Beach. “Where I was born and raised, Mardi Gras is a way of life,” she said. “Once the Christmas decorations come down, we start gearing up for my most favorite time of year!”

Carlson’s deep ties to Mardi Gras include membership in krewes across Orange Beach and New Orleans. Locally, she’s part of Bon Temps Cabrix and the Sirens of the Sea, while in New Orleans, she serves as a float lieutenant in the Krewe of Iris. Her husband is an officer in the Krewe of Mid-City.

The store’s festive window displays are a highlight for locals and visitors. Carlson shares her personal collection of costumes and memories, saying, “Putting my costumes in the window each year allows me to relive some of my most favorite Mardi Gras memories. I have so much fun sharing stories with everyone who comes in!”

Emporium@C has received an enthusiastic response from the community. Carlson said, “I am beyond thrilled to share my love for Mardi Gras with Orange Beach and the surrounding areas — the response has been amazing!”

As the carnival season approaches, Emporium@C invites everyone to stop by and explore its collection of apparel, accessories, décor, and gifts. It’s the perfect place to get into the Mardi Gras spirit.
