Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – As spring unfolds in the Foley area, a vibrant tapestry of events and festivals is set to engage locals and visitors alike, offering a diverse array of activities that cater to every taste and age group. From the melodious allure of Midday Melodies at Heritage Park, where attendees are invited to enjoy live music in the open air from March 6 through March 27, to the intrigue and excitement of a Pirate Murd-Arr! Mystery Dinner Show at the Brandon Styles Theater at OWA on March 7 and 8, the season promises a diverse blend of cultural and recreational events.


The calendar is filled with events, including the Mustang and Mega Car Show on March 9 at Downtown OWA, and the BBQ and Blues Cook-off at Heritage Park on the same day, offering a feast for both the palate and the ears. The Graham Creek Easter Egg Hunt takes place on March 23 at Graham Creek Nature Preserve, adding a family-friendly note to the festivities, while music enthusiasts have much to look forward to with Still Standing: A Tribute to Elton John on March 22 and 23 at OWA Theater. The month also features Bunnies and Baskets from March 23-30 at OWA, a delightful prelude to April's Mudbugs & Margarita's Festival on April 6 at Heritage Park, among other engaging events.


In addition to these special events, the Heritage Park Marketplace will showcase local artisans on select dates in April and May, while Music and a Movie nights offer a perfect blend of live performances and cinematic magic under the stars. The season is further enriched by educational and leisurely Downtown Foley Walking Tours every Saturday in April, culminating in the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival from May 2-4 in Downtown OWA and Art in the Park on May 11-12 at John B. Foley Park, where art enthusiasts can explore over 100 artists' hand-crafted works. This spring, the Foley area is set to become a hub of activity, creativity, and community spirit.
