South Baldwin Christian Plans Golf Fundraiser at Cotton Creek Country Club
Tournament proceeds to benefit South Baldwin Christian athletic programs

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — South Baldwin Christian Academy is preparing to host its first-ever athletic golf tournament this fall, giving community members a chance to support local student-athletes while enjoying a day on the course. The fundraiser is designed to benefit the school’s athletic program, with proceeds directly helping to equip and promote sports across campus. Organizers say the event will combine friendly competition, community spirit, and opportunities for significant prizes. The tournament also marks a new tradition for the growing school.
The inaugural South Baldwin Christian Academy Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 20, at Cotton Creek Country Club in Gulf Shores. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. tee-off, and the format will be a four-man scramble. Entry is $150 per person, and registration includes lunch for all participants.
Players will have a chance to compete for a wide variety of prizes. Additional items include gift cards, restaurant vouchers, golf apparel, and other giveaways. Several door prize drawings will also be held throughout the day.
The school is limiting the tournament to 80 players this year, making early sign-up especially important. Registration can be completed online through the school’s website, Facebook page. For those who prefer traditional registration methods, the school is also accepting mail-in forms.
Athletic Director and Coach Brian Carroll encouraged the community to take part in helping build support for student athletics. “This tournament is a chance for people to come together and invest in our students while enjoying a great day of golf,” Carroll said. He noted that all funds raised will go directly toward growing and strengthening the academy’s athletic programs.
For more information about the tournament or to register, individuals may contact Carroll at 251-484-0032 or by email at
