ONE Club Plans Fall Charity Golf Classic to Fight Breast Cancer

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — ONE Club Gulf Shores is hosting its 2025 Fall Charity Golf Classic to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Organizers say the community event will combine friendly competition with a clear purpose. The tournament will raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Leaders at the club expect a strong turnout from golfers and local sponsors.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th, in Gulf Shores. Check-in and breakfast start at 7:30 a.m. The shotgun start is set for 9:00 a.m. The format is a three-person scramble designed to welcome golfers of many skill levels.

Entry costs are listed at $100 per person or $300 per team. Registration includes breakfast and lunch. Participants will find on-course activities throughout the round. Prizes and giveaways will be part of the day.

Tournament highlights include a hole-in-one challenge with a chance to win a car. Additional contests will recognize closest to the pin and longest drive. A silent auction will feature exclusive items and experiences. Organizers say proceeds will support breast cancer research efforts.

Avery George Director of Golf and Amenities at ONE Club encouraged broad community participation. George said the team has planned an enjoyable and meaningful day on the course. He noted that the scramble format keeps play moving and upbeat. The goal is to raise as much support as possible.

The club also invites local businesses to partner as sponsors. Interested companies are asked to call 251 968 3234. Sponsorships help fund prizes on course contests and operations. They also expand the impact of donations to research.

ONE Club is located at 20050 Oak Road East in Gulf Shores. The property features a public-friendly course and an active events calendar. Residents and visitors can explore golf memberships and community amenities. Details about the club are available on the
official website.

Organizers say every entry helps the cause. The mix of competition and community gives players many ways to take part. Volunteers and guests are welcome to attend the auction and awards. Supporters can also spread the word to friends and coworkers.

The club emphasized that the event honors those touched by breast cancer. Pink-themed visuals and messaging will be present during the day. The program aims to celebrate survivors and recognize ongoing needs. The event’s message is awareness action and hope.

Prizes will be awarded to first and second-place teams. Giveaways tied to certain holes will add surprises during the round. Tournament staff will communicate rules clearly at check-in. Pace of play guidelines are designed to keep groups moving smoothly.

Space is limited to ensure a well-run experience on the course. Early registration also helps volunteers finalize pairings and meals. Teams are encouraged to confirm names before tournament morning.

Community members who cannot play contribute in other ways. Donors may support the auction or underwrite contest holes. Small gifts can be combined to create larger prize packages. Organizers welcome creative ideas that honor loved ones.

Avery George who is the Director of Golf/Amenities at ONE Club said the final putt will matter less than the collective effort. The success of the day will be measured in dollars raised and voices heard. With strong participation the event can help fund lifesaving research. The club hopes to make this an annual community tradition.
