Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  National Parks and Recreation Month is wrapping up in Orange Beach, and the city is going out strong. Orange Beach Parks and Recreation has lined up a final round of events to close out the month-long celebration. The city has spent July honoring the role of community and belonging. Residents are invited to take part in the festivities before the month ends.

The highlight of the final stretch is the Superhero Fitness Class Expo, set for Saturday, July 26, 2025. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Recreation Center gymnasium. Staff from the Orange Beach Fitness Center will lead the event. Admission is free to the public.

The expo aims to bring the best of local wellness together under one roof. Attendees can meet instructors, watch live fitness demonstrations, and explore a range of workout options. The event is designed to help residents find a fitness routine that works for them. Organizers say it will be high-energy and action-packed.

There is also a fun twist for those who want to get into the spirit. Costumes are highly encouraged at the event. Attendees are welcome to dress as their favorite superhero and come ready to move. The costume element is optional but adds to the day's festive atmosphere.

The Superhero Fitness Class Expo is the latest in a series of events Orange Beach Parks and Recreation has hosted throughout July. The department used National Parks and Recreation Month to spotlight the programs and people that make the community strong. The Recreation Center is located in the city's main Rec Center facility.
