Magnolia Hall at Luna’s will host the fundraiser with live music and entertainment

Safe Harbor Animal Coalition

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Safe Harbor Animal Coalition is preparing for one of its most anticipated community fundraisers, a celebration designed to blend good food, entertainment, and philanthropy. The event, called “A Fun Paw Down,” promises an afternoon that is lighthearted but anchored in purpose. Local supporters are expected to gather not just for the atmosphere but also to bolster the group’s work in saving animals across the Gulf Coast by reducing the overpopulation of animals with spay/neuter . Organizers say the benefit will be open to the public, with added opportunities for donors.

The gathering is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Hall at Luna’s, located at 25689 Canal Road in Orange Beach. For a $100 donation, guests will receive seating for two, light food, entry into prize drawings, and live entertainment. That contribution also helps fuel Safe Harbor Animal Coalition’s mission to protect and care for animals in need across the region.

Among the entertainment planned is live music featuring Jacob Brock and Steve Solomon. A silent auction and cash bar are also on the program, with proceeds directed toward the nonprofit’s ongoing work. Food and drinks for the afternoon will be provided by Luna’s Eat and Drink, a popular local restaurant.

Supporters who contribute will also have a chance to win prizes, including $10,000, $2,000, and themed gift baskets. Only 400 tickets will be sold, making the prize entries limited. Winners do not have to be present at the event to claim the awards, allowing a wider pool of participation from those unable to attend in person.

The coalition emphasized that events like this are vital to its ability to continue lifesaving operations. Donations collected during the Paw Down fundraiser are expected to help cover costs ranging from veterinary care to rescue operations. Safe Harbor Animal Coalition has positioned itself as a local safety net for abandoned and neglected animals.

Community members can email
event@safeharborac.org for more information on the event, sponsorship tables, or donation details. Organizers noted that every contribution, whether big or small, makes a difference for animals that depend on volunteer support.
