Free Help for Stray Cats Available in Baldwin County

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Safe Harbor Animal Coalition is offering free spay and neuter clinics for stray cats in Baldwin County. These clinics are only for unowned cats that people are caring for and plan to continue supporting. The service is not available for personal pets. All cats must arrive in secure carriers or covered traps.


The first clinic will be held Tuesday, May 6 at Eastern Shore Mall in Spanish Fort. The second is Tuesday, May 20 in Foley. Drop-off runs from 6:45 to 7:15 a.m. with pickup scheduled for 5 or 5:30 p.m.


Appointments are required and spots are limited. Ear tipping is mandatory for all cats. Services include rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, flea treatment, and deworming.


Caregivers must keep cats indoors overnight after surgery. Cats can be released the following morning. Proof of Baldwin County residency is required with a photo ID and utility bill.
