Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Communities along Alabama’s Gulf Coast are taking time this week to honor the men and women who serve and protect during National Police Week, a time set aside to recognize the dedication, bravery, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers across the country.
In cities like Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Foley, police departments are not only maintaining safety and order, but also actively working to build strong relationships with the citizens they serve.

Their commitment to public service is evident in both emergency response and daily operations.
Community Appreciation
During National Police Week, local leaders and residents alike have taken to social media and public forums to thank officers for their hard work and dedication. Ceremonies, lunches, and small acts of gratitude have appeared throughout Baldwin County as part of the observance.
Whether patrolling highways, working crime scenes, or mentoring youth, officers in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Foley continue to serve with professionalism and compassion. This week is a chance for the community to reflect on the role these departments play in making the Gulf Coast a safe and welcoming place for all.
