Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) —  South Baldwin Community Theatre has announced its full Season 55 lineup, featuring 12 productions at the George C. Meyer Performing Arts Center in Gulf Shores. The season runs nearly a full year and spans a wide range of genres, including comedy, mystery, musicals, and holiday-themed shows. The theater is also inviting the community to get involved as volunteers and sponsors. The venue is located at 2022 W. 2nd St. in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The season opens with "The Play That Goes Wrong", running September 18–27, 2026. A special benefit event supporting The Parrot Head Emergency Foundation, "An Afternoon with Peter, Jim and Brendan Mayer", is scheduled for October 22, 2026. "The Wind in the Willows" follows, running November 6–15, 2026.

The holiday season brings two productions. Four A Change presents "Our Favorite Things" on December 3–4, 2026, with tickets priced at $25. "Christmas Radio Theatre" runs December 11–13, 2026.

The new year continues with "I Hate Hamlet", scheduled for January 7–17, 2027. February features both "The Murder Room", running February 10–21, 2027, and the 24-Hour Play Festival Winter Edition, running February 26–27, 2027. Admission to the festival is $5 at the door.

Spring brings "Disney's Descendants: The Musical", running April 16–25, 2027. Summer opens with "Tornados Touching Down", June 4–13, 2027, and the 24-Hour Play Festival Summer Edition, June 18–19, 2027. The season closes with "9 to 5 The Musical", July 23–August 1, 2027.

The theater is offering several sponsorship levels for the season. The $10,000 Season Partner package includes a logo on play posters and a half-page ad inside the front of programs for the entire season. The $3,000 Per-Play Partner option includes a logo on that play's poster, a half-page ad in the front of that program, and a large logo featured in all programs throughout the season.

Smaller partnership levels are also available. A $250-per-play Large Partner package includes a large logo in the program, with a full-season option at $2,000. A $125-per-play Small Partner option is available, with a full-season rate of $1,000. The theater is also recruiting volunteers to assist with a range of behind-the-scenes tasks. Volunteers can help welcome patrons, build sets, and support productions throughout the season. Interested individuals can complete a volunteer interest form on the theater's website.
