Halloween Celebrations Set for the Gulf Coast
Communities offer trunk-or-treats, costume contests, and waterfront celebrations through Halloween week

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Halloween celebrations along Alabama's Gulf Coast will span nine days this year, from October 24 through 31, with communities from Orange Beach to Perdido Key hosting costume contests, trick-or-treat events and outdoor adventures. The 2025 lineup includes returning favorites like Flora-Bama's cash-prize costume contest and The Wharf's Trunk or Treat, alongside newer offerings such as beach campouts and waterfront trick-or-treating at Zeke's Marina. Events range from family-focused activities in neighborhood communities to late-night parties at local venues.

Treasures of the Isle Halloween Costume Party & Drawdown at the Orange Beach Event Center offers an evening of prizes and costumed fun.

The weekend brings multiple celebrations across the coast. Families can enjoy Trick or Treat with Zeke's Fleet (5–10 pm) at Zeke's Marina in Orange Beach, offering a unique maritime twist on traditional trick-or-treating.
Adventure seekers can begin the
Ghouls on the Gulf Beach Campout at Gulf State Park (October 25-26), combining coastal camping with Halloween festivities for a truly memorable overnight experience.
At 7 pm, Big Beach Brewing Company (300 E 24th Ave., Gulf Shores) hosts a spirited

The night culminates with
Flora-Bama's legendary Halloween Costume Contest at 9 pm, offering one of the Gulf Coast's biggest cash prizes—$600 for first place, $500 for second, and $400 for third. Registration runs from 6 to 8:30 pm, and anyone in costume gets in free for a night of live music, laughs, and high-energy "Bamily" fun on the Florida-Alabama line.
