Foley, Ala. — (OBA) —  The Sea Glass Initiative is bringing a free Community Resource Fair to Foley in October. The event will connect Baldwin County residents with local organizations and service providers. Attendees will find a wide range of services available in one location. Entry is free and open to the public.

The fair is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at Foley United Methodist Church, 915 N. Pine St., Foley, Alabama 36535.

The Sea Glass Initiative describes its mission as "Transforming Homelessness to Hopefulness: A Path Forward." The organization connects people in need with resources that support housing stability. Services available on the day of the event include:

• Hot Meal
• Housing Services
• Educational Assistance
• Homeless Services (shower, haircut)
• Senior Services
• Social Services
• Mental Health Services
• Employment Services

Local nonprofits, health agencies, educational programs, social service providers, and community advocates are encouraged to participate as vendors. Partner registration is open, and participation is free. Organizers say spaces are filling up, so interested groups should act soon.
