City Hall Renovations Prompt Finance Drive-Through Closure

Orange Beach Finance Dept. Update

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The drive-through service at the Orange Beach Finance Department will be closed starting today, Monday, January 22, 2024. This closure is due to the ongoing renovations at Orange Beach City Hall. However, the main building will continue to welcome walk-in visitors.

This closure is a step towards relocating the Finance Department to a newly constructed wing at Orange Beach City Hall. The new wing, situated at the back of the City Hall, is anticipated to open in early summer 2024, depending on the weather. This new section will feature an updated drive-through lane for public convenience.

During this period, the third lane of the current drive-through will still be accessible for dropping off sewer bills. It's important to note that this drop box is exclusively for sewer bill payments and cannot be used for business license transactions.

The City Hall and the Finance Department have expressed their apologies for any inconvenience caused by this drive-through closure.

The Finance Department's office hours remain unchanged, operating from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at 4151 Orange Beach Boulevard.

For further information or inquiries, the public can contact the department at 251-981-6096.
