South Baldwin Chamber Seeks Artist For 23rd Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival
Submissions for the 2027 festival poster and t-shirt design are due by October 1, 2026
Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — The Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival is seeking a local artist to design the official poster and t-shirt artwork for its 23rd annual event. Organizers invite creative talent from across the region to submit original designs for the 2027 festival. The contest is open to artists who want their work to become part of the festival's lasting legacy. Each year, a unique design is selected to represent the celebration and its traditions.
The submission deadline is October 1, 2026. The festival is held at OWA in Foley, Alabama, and attracts visitors from across the Gulf Coast each year. Artists are encouraged to submit their entries well before the cutoff.
The selected artist will receive a $500 commission for their work. In addition to the payment, the winning artist will be named the official festival artist for 2027. Their artwork will be featured on posters, merchandise, marketing materials, and more throughout the event.
