Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) —  Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores will host the 11th Annual Bloody Mary 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run for the third consecutive year as part of the Run the Coast Summer Series. The race features an out-and-back course through Waterway Village, starting at 7:30 a.m. More than 400 runners participated in last year's event. The event is open to all ages and welcomes the whole family.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, with early packet pickup on Friday, September 4, at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Runners may also pick up packets on race morning from 6 a.m. to 7:10 a.m. at the same location. Race-day registration will be available for those who have not yet registered.

Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group. Team Spirit Awards will also be presented for the best football fan gear. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite school or team colors to be eligible for individual prizes.

The event wraps up the Run the Coast Summer Series with a post-race party at Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores. Festivities will include a live DJ, food, drinks, and the restaurant's well-known Bloody Marys. It offers a family-friendly way to close out the summer racing season on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
