Blue Angels Set 2025 Practice Dates

NAS Pensacola, Fla. – (OBA) – The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, has released their 2025 practice schedule, offering public viewing opportunities at Naval Air Station Pensacola through a partnership with the National Naval Aviation Museum. The announcement comes as the team prepares for another season of precision aerial maneuvers.


Their first scheduled Practice Show with be on April 2nd this year. They intend to sign autographs in the Naval Air Museum after this practice. 


The Naval Air Museum where the Blue Angels Practice is about 20 miles from Orange Beach.


Practice Schedule and Viewing Details

Practices will occur on select dates throughout the year at NAS Pensacola, with gates opening at 9:30 AM and flight demonstrations beginning at 10:30 AM. The museum's flight line viewing area provides bleacher seating for 500 visitors, though officials emphasize early arrival due to limited parking capacity.


Special Wednesday Sessions

Following select Wednesday practices, Blue Angels team members will conduct free autograph signings and Q&A sessions at the National Naval Aviation Museum. These post-practice engagements occur on dates specified in the newly released schedule.


Visitor Requirements

Access to NAS Pensacola requires a single government-issued photo ID such as a state driver's license or passport. All visitors must enter through the West Gate on Blue Angel Parkway between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily. Foreign nationals require accompaniment by a U.S. citizen for base access.


Preparation Recommendations

Museum staff advise attendees to:

  • Bring sun protection and consider hearing protection for sensitive ears
  • Stay hydrated with nonalcoholic beverages
  • Use light-colored, loose-fitting clothing
  • Rent chairs ($6 fee) or arrive early for bleacher seating


The Navy maintains free admission to all practices while implementing cashless operations for concessions and merchandise sales, with proceeds supporting museum programs. Security protocols prohibit backpacks and large bags, though small purses and diaper bags remain permitted subject to search.


2025 Blue Angels Practice Schedule

Gates open at 9:30 AM and the Blues are scheduled to take to the skies at 10:30 AM. Arrive EARLY, once the Museum parking lot has been filled, NAS Pensacola will pause entry to the base.

John Pilcher, Jody Pilcher, Mary Pilcher and Emmie Pilcher Flowers are making the request. According to Baldwin County tax records, the group owns six parcels fronting the road east of Fat Daddy’s. They will request changes to a previously submitted site plan.
