Florida’s Big Bend Area is under a Hurricane Watch

Tropical Depression Four Forecasted Path

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Tropical Depression Four is expected to move north-northwest across Cuba today and become Tropical Storm Debbie as it makes its way into the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Hurricane center has issued Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings from the Florida Keys to north of Tampa. A Hurricane Watch has been issued for the Big Bend area of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

While this system is not expected to affect our area, we should keep our eyes on it for any forecast changes. We are expected to see some rough surf conditions as the system moves into the Gulf.
