Orange Beach City Hall Hosts Community Blood Drive With Gifts For Donors
Donors who give blood on September 10 will receive a free T-shirt, gift card, and cholesterol screening
Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Orange Beach will host a community blood drive this month, offering residents the chance to help save lives close to home. The LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be parked at Orange Beach City Hall for the one-day event. Donors can walk in or schedule an appointment in advance. All donors will receive a free T-shirt, a gift card, and a free cholesterol screening.
The blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. City Hall is at 4099 Orange Beach Blvd. Residents who want to reserve a time slot can do so online at
donors.lifesouth.org.
To be eligible to donate, participants must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. All donors must bring a valid photo ID. Donors who are 16 years old must also provide written parental permission before donating blood.
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is a nonprofit organization that collects blood donations and distributes them to hospitals throughout the Southeast. Blood drives like this one help keep local hospital blood supplies stocked for patients in need. Community events are one of the primary ways LifeSouth collects donations across the region.
Orange Beach City Hall has long served as a gathering point for community events and services. Holding the blood drive there makes it easy for residents across the area to participate. The six-hour window gives donors flexibility to stop by at a time that works for them.
