Margaritaville Resort at the Wharf in Orange Beach

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Recently, a new Margaritaville was planned for the Legendary Marina complex. This week the Wharf in Orange Beach announced they will be hosting the resort property. In a press release, the Wharf's management stated the plan for construction and completion date.

The Margaritaville state of mind is coming to Orange Beach with the debut of Margaritaville Resort Orange Beach. Sitting on over 70 acres along the shores of the Intracoastal Waterway, this resort destination will mix Margaritaville’s laid-back island lifestyle with the vibrant entertainment, shopping, and dining offered at The Wharf.

Once open, the property will feature diverse dining options, endless entertainment, a resort pool, and much more. With single family resort cottages, luxury waterfront condominiums, and hotel-style resort units, there will be something for everyone.

Located at the heart of the resort is the Waterfront District which will include multiple food and beverage destinations, activities for guests of all ages, resort retail, group meeting space, and transient boat parking. Guests will be able to board the ferry to head to The Wharf to enjoy a concert at the amphitheater, shop, eat, ride the Ferris Wheel, or take in the nightly laser light show along Main Street. A short three-minute walk from the Waterfront District is the sprawling six-acre amenity oasis deck with pool, waterslide complex, activity area, and poolside entertainment.

Margaritaville Resort Orange Beach is set to break ground this fall with construction of the Waterfront District beginning summer of 2025 and the first phase of the resort opening 2027. The full resort is set to be complete by spring of 2029.
