Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) —  Taste of the Island is returning to the coast for an evening of food, drinks, and friendly competition. Hosted by the Mystics of Pleasure and the Mermaids of Pleasure, the event showcases 30 of the Gulf Coast's best restaurants. Chefs will prepare their signature dishes while guests sample the offerings and cast ballots to crown the winning restaurant. Attendees will also enjoy an open bar with cocktails throughout the festive evening.

The festivities begin on December 4th at 6:00 PM at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf. Organizers chose this coastal setting to give visitors plenty of space to socialize, sample dishes, and take part in the annual tradition.

Beyond fine dining and entertainment, the event also serves as an official Toys for Tots toy drive. The gathering also benefits the Christian Service Center, helping support neighbors in need throughout the holiday season.

Organizers ask attendees to bring one new, unwrapped toy to help make the holidays brighter for local children. The combined charitable mission ensures that area families receive additional support and gifts during this special time of year.

Admission costs $75 per person, and each entry ticket includes a full dinner and drinks from the open bar. Guests will also enjoy live musical entertainment by the Fuego Show Band.

Groups seeking a private setup can reserve a dedicated table by purchasing 10 tickets for $750. A few VIP and sponsorship tables remain available for businesses or parties seeking an upgraded experience.

The official dress code for the celebration is Island Casual, creating a comfortable yet festive setting for mingling. Attendees are encouraged to wear relaxed coastal attire as they sample signature plates and cast their votes.
