Update at 8:30am: It appears that all power is back on in Orange Beach and on Ono Island. No word from Baldwin EMC about the cause.

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Some residents of Orange Beach and Ono Island are confronting another day without electricity, marking the second consecutive day of power disruptions in the area. The cause of this morning’s power outage remains unknown, leaving many locals seeking answers as they deal with living without power.

The affected regions, prominently highlighted on local outage maps, span significant portions of Orange Beach along Canal Road all the way to Bear Point (3,400 meters) and Ono Island. These areas are shown in deep red, indicating a complete loss of service affecting thousands of households and businesses.

Baldwin EMC, the power company responsible for electricity supply in the region, has been actively addressing the situation. However, detailed information about the cause of the outage or the estimated time for restoration has not yet been provided. The company's technicians are likely working to restore power as swiftly as possible.

The continued outage has raised concerns among residents, particularly regarding the preservation of perishable goods and the operation of essential home medical equipment.

Zales Outlet Targeted in Weekend Burglary in Foley

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — A group of four people is planning a new mini-golf course at the site of longtime Bubba’s Seafood House on beach road. John Pilcher, Jody Pilcher, Mary Pilcher and Emmie Pilcher Flowers are making the request. According to Baldwin County tax records, the group owns six parcels fronting the road east of Fat Daddy’s. They will request changes to a previously submitted site plan.
