Orange Beach, Ala. - (OBA) - The Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club expressed gratitude to the City of Orange Beach for its support of police and first responders by presenting Mayor Tony Kennon with the club colors in the form of a framed jacket. The presentation took place on Thursday, March 16th, at Orange Beach City Hall, where International Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club President John Boyan, of Rochester, New York, joined the local Alabama Coastal Chapter for the event.
Boyan expressed the club's pride in presenting the colors to the City of Orange Beach and appreciated the welcoming reception they received. Mayor Kennon accepted the gift with great appreciation, emphasizing that the City of Orange Beach fully supports the police and that the Punishers LEMC exemplifies the meaning of service to others.
The Punishers LEMC has over 300 chapters worldwide and is composed primarily of active and retired law enforcement, military personnel, first responders, and like-minded individuals. Its motto, "In Service to Others," reflects the club's focus on raising funds for various charities across the country, with a particular focus on children's groups and anti-bullying campaigns.
Locally, the Alabama Coastal Chapter supports families of children in need by providing groceries for weekends and school breaks at certain times of the year. Additionally, the chapter is hosting the 2023 War Dog Charity Event on Saturday, March 18th, at Top of the Bay on U.S. 98 in Daphne. The motorcycle event is a Poker Chip Run, and the profits will be used to bring abandoned K9s home from overseas.
The Punishers LEMC's commitment to supporting the community and law enforcement is reflected in their charitable work and appreciation for the City of Orange Beach's support. More information about the motorcycle club can be found at punisherslemc.com.
