Luke Bryan Cigar Shop at the Wharf

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – CMA Award winning Luke Bryan has strong ties to the gulf coast region. Now he is making another connection on the Alabama coast. Shore Thing Cigars is set to open its second location in the Spring of 2024. The luxury cigar and cocktail lounge will be located in The Wharf entertainment district of Orange Beach.

The store is owned by five-time Entertainer of the Year and American Idol celebrity judge Luke Bryan. His business partner and fishing partner, Paul Copeland, is the co-owner. Luke and Paul chose The Wharf in Orange Beach because of its deeply rooted ties to live music and championship sport fishing. The Wharf also has a 10,000 seat, open air amphitheater that hosts some of the biggest names in music, including Luke himself.

“The Orange Beach area has always been an amazing place for music, fishing, and beach life,” shared Luke. “The opportunity for Shore Thing Cigars in that area just seems like a perfect fit. A gathering place people can get together, relax, and enjoy a drink and a cigar. The Wharf has always been one of my favorite venues and i am honored to have Shore Thing Cigars in the area.”

The second store will have a very similar feel and vibe to its flagship store, located on scenic highway 30A, in Watersound, Florida. The lounge is known for a fresh and coastal chic atmosphere. The music and purified, scented air, makes the store appealing to everyone, whether a cigar enthusiast or someone who enjoys delicious cocktails. Shore Thing Cigars will host karaoke nights on Fridays and offers happy hour every day from 5-7 pm. Locals in the community can enjoy an “all day every day happy hour.”

As part of the new location, Shore Thing Cigars at The Wharf also has built a “backstage” area where guests can buy annual memberships to enter a private lounge with secured lockers which have a digitally controlled humidity system for cigar storage. Backstage memberships include a gift card as well as invitations to private events, liquor and cigar pairings, and trips to cigar factories and fields.

Luke is an avid enthusiast of anything that involves being outdoors. His love for fishing and hunting lives not only in his music, but in his life on and off tour. Luke has also been passionate about cigars for years. He has two personally blended cigars that have been made for him by Davidoff Cigars.

These cigars were made exactly for his palate and they can be found in his private humidors at home and on the road. Paul has been in the cigar industry for almost 15 years and has been to the factories to personally blend and roll cigars more than 10 times. His love of cigars is nostalgic to moments with his father and with his best friends.

Up to date information on the build out, photos, events, and details are regularly posted on Instagram and Facebook @shorethingcigars. Store information and an online store to purchase cigars and STC Merchandise is available at
