2025 Shrimp Fest Live Music Lineup Includes Funk and Throwback Hits
Local Volunteers Coordinate 52nd Annual Shrimp Fest
Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — The National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores will offer four days of live music and entertainment starting with two main stages filled with local and touring artists. Performers will play a mix of country, rock, blues, jazz, and R&B for visitors. Festival admission is free. Guests can enjoy new hits and old favorites across the festival grounds.

The event is set for October 9 through October 12, 2025, at Gulf Shores Public Beach. Thursday through Saturday, music runs from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday’s entertainment ends at 5 p.m. The location is 101 Gulf Shores Parkway, where Hwy 59 meets East Beach Boulevard.
Thursday’s headliner on the Pepsi East Stage is Style performing from 8 to 10 p.m. At the same time on the West Stage, the Troy Laz Band will perform a range from James Brown to Bruno Mars. Friday night features The Molly Ringwalds on the East Stage and The Velcro Pygmies on the West Stage, both from 8 to 10 p.m.
Saturday evening the East Stage hosts Doctor Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster from 8 to 10 p.m. On Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. the West Stage presents Best of British performing AC/DC and Def Leppard tribute sets. Sunday wraps up with Gulf Shores favorite Crab Riot on the East Stage from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The Groovinators close the West Stage from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
The festival runs on two stages throughout the weekend with various musical styles. Admission remains free for all visitors. Attendees can explore arts, crafts, seafood booths, contests, and children’s activities. The event has drawn nearly 250,000 visitors in past years, according to organizers.
Community volunteers and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber organize the event. The volunteer‑driven festival is in its fifty‑second year in 2025. Visitors can expect food, art, live music, and fun for all ages. The festival seeks to support local talent along with national touring bands.
