Classic Cars And Fresh Seafood Highlight Orange Beach Festival

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The Wharf will come alive once again as the 34th Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAAC Car Show returns this February. The popular event draws thousands each year for a day filled with coastal food, family fun, and impressive classic cars. Visitors will find a lively mix of community spirit, local flavor, and entertainment that celebrates all things Orange Beach.

Set for Saturday, February 28, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Wharf. Hosted by the Makos Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC), the event serves as the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the car show help support local schools, benefiting students across Orange Beach.

The festival has become a highlight of the city’s social calendar, known for its fresh Gulf seafood and impressive selection of restored vehicles. Visitors can expect food vendors, crafts, and live music throughout the day. MAAAC leaders encourage families and visitors alike to come out, enjoy the festivities, and help support education in the community.

The Seafood Festival offers a diverse selection of Arts & Crafts booths located in the west parking lot, behind the movie theater. Visitors will find something to appeal to every taste, with offerings including handmade jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, leather, pottery, sculpture, specialty goods, and woodwork. This area also hosts the food vendors.

“This is much more than a car show,” organizers shared. “It’s a celebration of Orange Beach and the people who make it special.” Attendees will have the chance to see hundreds of classic cars lined up while enjoying local cuisine and coastal entertainment. All funds raised from the car show benefit MAAAC. Trophies will be awarded at 3:00 PM on event day for many categories!

Complimentary shuttles will run from Orange Beach Middle/High School between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with frequency determined by rider demand. The pickup location at the school is the bell tower, and the drop-off point at The Wharf will be the front circle on Main Street.

The Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAAC Car Show continue a proud local tradition that brings residents, visitors, and community partners together. More details about vendors, parking, and schedules can be found at
