Celebrate 25 Years of Festive Fun, Family Entertainment, Community, and Let The Good Times Float!

LuLu's Mardi Gras Boat Parade.

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – Hard to believe it’s been so long since LuLu’s first opened its doors in Gulf Shores on a Fat Tuesday in 1999, firmly establishing itself as a destination for tourists and locals craving great food, live music, and family fun.

The fun continues this Fat Tuesday, February 13th, starting at 10am and continuing past 4pm when the boat parade arrives to toss their varied assortment of beads, trinkets, Moon Pies, and other goodies to onlookers on LuLu’s world-famous deck.

And what birthday party would be complete without a birthday cake? There will be plenty to go around, so bring your appetite. And since this is a LuLu’s party, of course, there will be a band on stage to provide live entertainment. This year, everybody’s favorites the Tip Tops will be in the house to liven things up, starting at 11am.

Whether you’re on land watching from LuLu’s deck or on the water parading on a boat, it’s a Mardi Gras birthday bash you won’t want to miss. And don’t forget to wear your finest and most creative Mardi Gras gold, green, and purple colors because door prizes will be handed out for best dressed.
