Robertsdale Man Arrested for Liquid Meth After Foley Traffic Stop
Officers Discover 11 Ounces Of Liquid Methamphetamine During Stop

Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — A Robertsdale man is facing serious drug charges after Foley police said they found liquid methamphetamine during a traffic stop this week. Officers made the discovery Tuesday night after pulling the driver over for what they described as a traffic violation. Police said the stop quickly turned into a criminal investigation. The suspect was arrested at the scene after officers found evidence of illegal drugs.
According to the Foley Police Department, the incident happened on Tuesday, January 6, around 8:45 p.m. Officers identified the driver as 30-year-old Lewis Joseph Jackson of Robertsdale. During the stop, police said they located approximately 11 ounces of liquid methamphetamine in Jackson’s possession.
Police said Jackson tried to conceal and tamper with the drugs before officers could collect them. After recovering the evidence, officers arrested him on charges of drug trafficking (methamphetamine) and tampering with physical evidence. Foley police said the amount of liquid meth recovered was significant and posed a serious concern for the community.
Jackson was taken to the Baldwin County Corrections Center following his arrest. Jail records show his bond was set at $750,500. Police said no one else was taken into custody during the stop, and the investigation remains ongoing.
