Local disappeared in Terry Cove on May 27, body found on May 29

Danny Williams' body was found in Terry Cove in Orange Beach, Alabama, on May 29.

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach Police are asking if members of the public remember seeing a boat on May 27 in the afternoon in Terry Cove.


“The Orange Beach Police are investigating an incident that occurred Friday, May 27 2022, at approximately 4 p.m.” a social medial post says. “If you were in the Terry Cove Harbor area on this date and time and had any contact or witnessed anything involving the below pictured boat, please contact us at obintel@orangebeachal.gov with your name and phone number and an investigator will be in contact.”


Local Danny Williams disappeared from a boat that day, a Friday, in Terry Cove and his body washed up in Terry Cove on Sunday, May 29. The boat the police is seeking info on was not reported stolen.


“They posted the boat to jog someone’s memory that may have seen it,” Police Chief Steve Brown said.

Police say body Williams’ death is a incident investigation and police would love to see any video from the area on Friday, May 27.
