Expect Excellence Theatre will present “Disney’s Frozen – The Broadway Musical” at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center. The production will feature both named roles and an ensemble cast. School leaders will be able to schedule trips around the dedicated time.

All performances will take place on the Main Stage at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center. The venue regularly hosts city and school productions. For this show, the Main Stage will serve as the setting for the world of Arendelle. The city’s Expect Excellence Theatre program will handle staging and technical needs.

The show is planned to run about two and a half hours. That duration includes all musical numbers and scenes. Audience members can expect a full-length Broadway-style experience. The schedule gives families several options to choose a performance time that works for them.

This local staging of “Disney’s Frozen – The Broadway Musical” will offer opportunities for a wide range of performers. The cast list will include named roles, such as the familiar characters from the Frozen story. It will also feature an ensemble, giving more participants a chance to be part of the production.

City officials say the Expect Excellence Theatre program is designed to provide arts experiences for the community. By bringing a well-known Broadway musical to Orange Beach, the program aims to involve both new and returning performers. The March schedule, combined with the school field trip show, is structured to reach a broad audience.

Residents who wish to audition are reminded that appointments are required. All auditions will be held on the Main Stage on November 30. With rehearsals beginning in December 2025, the cast will have several months to prepare for the March performances. The city is promoting the event as a major part of its upcoming arts calendar.
