Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach City Schools (OBCS) and the Mako Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC) have announced a unified sponsorship program for the 2025-2026 school year. This initiative coincides with the upcoming opening of a $46.1 million athletic complex in the summer of 2025.

Superintendent Randy Wilkes expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that the partnership offers exclusive sponsorship opportunities to support students' success in academics, arts, and athletics. He emphasized the community's shared commitment to empowering youth.

MAAAC has been a significant contributor to OBCS, donating over $1.5 million to various programs. The organization plans to continue its fundraising efforts, providing more opportunities for student development. Previous sponsors will maintain their benefits while gaining expanded advertising reach through new sponsorship tiers.

MAAAC President Matt Fetner highlighted the advantages for sponsors, noting that the new state-of-the-art athletic facility will offer increased exposure for businesses. He also mentioned plans to enhance current events and create networking opportunities for sponsors before football games.

The OBCS Sponsorship Guide details various sponsorship levels designed to meet the needs of businesses aiming to engage with the community. Packages offer benefits like prominent brand placement, VIP access, and special event recognition.
