Orange Beach Police Chief Trent Johnson To Speak at March Potluck
All Orange Beach residents are encouraged to join the community association's monthly potluck

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — Monthly community potlucks continue to unite Orange Beach residents for food and fellowship. Hosted by the Orange Beach Community Association, these events take place at the Orange Beach Community Center. Organizers note that the gatherings are open to everyone in the community. Each dinner features a guest speaker and a shared meal.
The potlucks are held on the first Monday of each month from September through May. Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The March 2025 potluck will take place one week from today, on Monday, March 2, and will feature the group’s Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. The March dinner will serve as an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Guests are encouraged to bring a covered side dish or dessert to share. The entrée will be provided by the Orange Beach Community Association, which organizes the monthly events.
The new Orange Beach Police Chief, Trent Johnson, will serve as a guest speaker at March’s Potluck. His appearance will give community members the opportunity to meet him and learn about the city's public safety efforts.
Organizers say everyone in the community is invited to attend. Those who cannot bring a dish but still want to participate may do so for a $5 meal fee. New members are always welcome to join the Orange Beach Community Association. Annual dues are $13 for an individual and $25 for a family. Association leaders say the potlucks are meant to strengthen community ties and keep residents informed about local issues.
