Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The 34th Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival will offer a full day of food, music, and family fun at The Wharf this month. Organizers say the popular event attracts thousands of visitors each year. Attendees can enjoy seafood favorites, art and craft vendors, live music, and a large car show. City school volunteers and local groups will also play important roles throughout the day.

This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Wharf in Orange Beach. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Officials say that more than 20,000 people attend the festival annually. The festival and car show together have become one of the city’s biggest yearly events.

The car show is the primary fundraising event for the Makos Academics, Arts and Athletics Club (MAAAC), which supports Orange Beach schools. All funds raised from the car show go directly to MAAAC. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. across multiple categories. Organizers are directing anyone interested in entering a vehicle to the 2026 MAAAC car show information and registration link.

Festival organizers say there is no admission fee and ample parking for visitors. Volunteers from Orange Beach schools will assist with parking, and donations will be accepted to support the local schools. Free shuttles will operate from Orange Beach Middle High School from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., depending on demand. Shuttle pick-up will be at the school bell tower, with drop-off at the front circle on Main Street at The Wharf.

The Seafood Festival will feature a full day of food, arts and crafts, music, and family activities. Organizers say the Kids’ Zone will offer activities for children, while Main Street will be lined with antique, classic, and hot-rod vehicles. In the west parking lot behind the movie theater, food vendors and arts-and-crafts booths will fill the area. The arts and crafts vendor application period is now closed.

Visitors will discover a wide variety of handmade items at the arts and crafts booths. Offerings include handmade jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, paintings, photography, leather goods, pottery, sculpture, specialty items, and woodwork. Food vendors in the same area will serve seafood dishes and specialty snacks throughout the day. A large crawfish and shrimp boil on Main Street and in the arts and crafts area is expected to be a major attraction and often sells out.

Beverage stations and vendors will be located throughout the festival grounds. Two Pepsi stands will be managed by Orange Beach City School volunteers. The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will operate beer booths on Main Street and near the music stage. Organizers say the food vendor application period has also closed.
