Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – The Gulf Shores & Orange Beach community will be celebrating this weekend at the inaugural L.O.L. Festival (Love Our Locals). The Festival kicks off today at the Gulf State Park’s Lake Shelby Picnic Area. This three-day event is dedicated to honoring local artists, musicians, food vendors, and businesses that make the coastal community thrive.

The festival runs from March 28 to March 30, offering various activities, performances, and showcases for all ages.

Festival Highlights Include:

Diverse Musical Performances: Attendees can look forward to an eclectic mix of genres, including country, classic rock, pop, funk, soul, R&B, and jazz. The festival promises a rich musical experience with a VIP section offering prime viewing near the stage.
Artistic Showcases: Local artists will display various artworks, providing a platform for creative expression and community engagement.
Culinary Delights: A selection of food vendors will serve up local flavors, ensuring festival-goers have a taste of the region's culinary offerings.
Family-Friendly Activities: Designed with the whole family in mind, the festival includes activities and entertainment suitable for all ages.

Pensacola Man Arrested After Break-In in Foley

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – At around 2:45 a.m., Foley police responded to a burglary call on State Highway 59. Officers found a man inside the business and apprehended him. The suspect, 52-year-old Patrick Odell Levens from Pensacola, Florida, had used a power tool to cut a hole in the back wall to get inside.
