Two Route Options Showcase Coastal Alabama Beauty

Cyclists Gear Up for 2025 Good Life Ride at Gulf State Park

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – The popular Good Life Ride cycling event is set to return to Gulf State Park on May 10, 2025. The annual event, which attracts cycling enthusiasts from across the Southeast, will feature multiple route options designed to showcase the natural beauty of Alabama's coastal region.

"We're thrilled to bring the Good Life Ride back for its sixteenth year," said Mark Berte. "The support from the community and the enthusiasm of returning riders has been tremendous."

Participants can choose from 9-mile, 17-mile routes, all starting and ending at the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion. Each course winds through diverse coastal landscapes, including maritime forests, wetlands, and beachfront areas.

Registration is now open. The $45 entry fee includes a complimentary gift, a post-ride meal, and access to aid stations along the routes. A portion of the proceeds will be used to raise awareness about bicycle safety throughout coastal Alabama.

The family-friendly event takes place over Mother's Day weekend and ACF is offering lodging discounts and rider scholarships for first time riders who are staying in the area.

After the ride, participants can enjoy a lively post-ride party with food, drinks, and entertainment. Tickets include access to the celebration.

"This isn't just about cycling," Berte added. "It's about connecting people with nature and fostering appreciation for our coastal resources."
