Orange Beach Powerboat Week Returns for the Sixth Year
Three days of events planned for May 8th through 11th

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The 6th Annual Orange Beach Powerboat Week is coming to Alabama’s Gulf Coast. The three-day event brings fast boats, fun runs, and parties to the area.
The action begins Thursday night at The Wharf in Orange Beach with a welcome party and the Miss Powerboat Week Contest at the Sand Shaker Club.
The event runs May 8 through May 11. On Friday, powerboats will make a fun run to Pensacola and Navarre before returning to Orange Beach. The day ends with a cocktail happy hour at Marker 158.
Saturday’s main event is the poker run. Participants collect cards at three different stops with a lunch break on Mobile Bay. The day wraps up with an open-bar awards party at Dick’s Last Resort.
The Wharf will serve as the main hub for the event. It offers a floating dock marina, free truck and trailer parking, hotel lodging, and many dining options.
