Gulf Shores Police Association Golf Tournament

Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — The Gulf Shores Police Association encourages residents to participate in its community programs and upcoming charity events. The organization remains active in supporting local families through charitable initiatives that foster stronger bonds between law enforcement and the community. This year, the association highlights two key efforts to help children and families in Gulf Shores. Members say these programs demonstrate how much the department values giving back.

One of the most recognized community events, Shop with a Cop, pairs local officers with children for a day of holiday shopping and friendship. A new program, K9s For Kids, is also being launched to create positive experiences through the department’s police dog program.

The association’s annual golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. The event will blend fun, sportsmanship, and community spirit while raising funds for these programs.

“Events like these provide an opportunity to connect with residents and make a meaningful difference,” organizers said. “We are grateful for the support we receive each year and look forward to another successful tournament.”

Those interested in joining the tournament or becoming sponsors can find details on the association’s
website by visiting the “Golf Tournament” menu and selecting the 2026 registration and sponsorship section.

The Gulf Shores Police Association thanked everyone who supports its mission to assist local youth and strengthen community bonds through events like these.
