Gulf Shores, Ala. — (OBA) — Officer Dylan Frazier has been named Gulf Shores Police Department’s Officer of the Month for May 2025. He was praised for his outstanding performance, teamwork, and dedication. Frazier’s supervisors described him as proactive and dependable. His May activity highlights his commitment to serving the community.

During May, Officer Frazier made seven arrests, five of which were self-initiated. He also responded to 147 service calls, including 88 that he initiated himself. These numbers reflect both his initiative and constant presence in the field.

A notable event took place on May 28, 2025. Officer Frazier helped an out-of-state agency locate an 88-year-old man with dementia. The man needed medical help, and Frazier kept his family updated throughout the process.

His quick action and teamwork during that case earned him recognition from the assisting agency. The Gulf Shores Police Department also praised the effort, saying it showed his strong commitment to public safety and service.

Officer Frazier has now been nominated for Officer of the Month four times in 2025. Department leaders say this shows how consistently he goes above and beyond. They congratulated him on his continued excellence in the line of duty.
