Golfers Set To Tee Off For Youth-Reach Gulf Coast Charity Event

Loxley, Ala. — (OBA) — Golfers across Baldwin County are preparing for a day of friendly competition and community support as Youth-Reach Gulf Coast hosts its 14th Annual Golf Tournament. The event will be held at Steelwood Country Club, giving players a chance to enjoy time on the greens with friends, good food, and the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause. Organizers say the tournament raises essential funds for programs that mentor and support young men throughout the Gulf Coast region.

The event is scheduled for Monday, April 13, at Steelwood Country Club, 17230 Dogwood Grove, Loxley. Check-in starts at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Each team registration costs $1,200 and includes a full day of golf, breakfast biscuits and coffee, and a filet mignon lunch. Participants will also receive a tournament shirt, golf balls, giveaways, and opportunities to win prizes throughout the day.

“Youth-Reach Gulf Coast is excited to welcome golfers back for another great day of fellowship and fun,” said organizers in a recent announcement. “This is an opportunity to spend time outdoors, enjoy the game, and make a real difference in the lives of local young men.”

In addition to team entries, Youth-Reach Gulf Coast offers several sponsorship opportunities for local businesses looking to show their support. Sponsorships range from the $5,000 Title Sponsor, which includes two golf teams and prominent signage, to the $250 Hole Sponsor, which includes a tee sign and recognition in the organization’s newsletter. Other sponsorship levels include the $ 3,000 Masters Sponsor, the $3,000 Majors Sponsor, and the $500 Champion Sponsor.

Sponsors also gain valuable exposure through the Youth-Reach Gulf Coast website, newsletter, and event materials. Funds raised help cover tournament expenses and support the nonprofit’s mission to offer recovery and mentoring programs for young men in need of guidance and life skills training.

Organizers invite both players and sponsors to participate in a day that combines friendly competition with community impact. “We’d love to have you join us—on the course or as a sponsor—for a memorable day supporting YRGC,” the announcement stated.
